I'm not here to fix you; therapy is you doing the work. Instead, I will hold space for your story and offer an outside perspective. You are the expert of your own story but we will work together! I want to help you identify your own underlying problems, recognize your strengths and make any adjustment to behaviors or thought patterns, so you can live a more fully authentic life.
As a MFT therapist, I take a systems approach to therapy, meaning I will focus on your story, your background, your past experiences and relationships, and how those may inform your current struggles, concerns, problems or issues. We are all different, which means therapy will look different for each individual, couple and family. You may be struggling with anxiety or depression. You may need help with communication, or familial relationships. Maybe you're not sure why you're still in a particular relationship or need help understanding your behaviors. All issues and concerns will be met with understanding, empathy and hope.
My areas of experience are with family communication, parenting, eating disorders, anxiety, life transitions, highly sensitive people, sensory concerns, depression, grief, self esteem, conflict, trauma and PTSD.
